On the bright side, it turned into a pretty unique way to meet a bunch of neighbors they’d never met in the two years they’ve lived there.
Renovate or relocate? It depends on how much you’re spending
A recent survey revealed that many homeowners are choosing to stay put and renovate instead of moving.
According to the data, most of them seem to be making relatively low-cost renovations, which can make a lot of sense. But for nearly 12% of homeowners, the amount being spent starts to reach a point where it’s worth taking a step back and considering whether renovating is still the best move—or if buying another home might make more sense.
